Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College improved to 9-1 with an 87-74 win over Bishop State Monday Night at the Weathers/Wentzell Center. Freshman Matthew Washington led the Bulldogs with 25 points. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Bishop State 70-54 behind a 22 point outing from Kiara Johnson. Brooke Eccles also chipped in 12 points for Gulf Coast (3-5).
The Bulldogs travel to Hinds Thursday with game times at 6 p.m. And 8 p.m.
