Ethan Anderson enters his fourth season in 2026 at Gulf Coast, where he started his college coaching career. The South Mississippi product coaches tight ends and fullbacks and brought NCAA and MACCC playing experience to the Bulldogs.

The 2025 Gulf Coast offense rewrote the Gulf Coast record book on the way to a 9-2 record and a berth in the MACCC championship game. The team led the NJCAA in total offense per game (466.1 yards), passing yards (3,452) and passing yards per attempt (10.4).

Owen Colpaert, a tight end on the squad, signed with Grambling.

In 2024, tight end Matt Adcock signed to play at Memphis. The Bulldogs led the country in total offense (470.0 ypg), ranking fourth in passing yards (266.0) and fifth in rushing (204.0). They were the fifth-highest scoring team in the country (39.8 ppg), with the second-most passing touchdowns and 10th-most rushing scores.

His 2023 position room sent two players to the Next Level: Bryce Johnson (Northwestern State) and Jackson Kostmayer (Central Arkansas).

Anderson started seven games in two seasons playing for the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in NCAA Division II. Before that, he played a season at East Mississippi Community College, where he helped lead the team to the playoffs as a freshman. EMCC did not compete in football his second season there.

Anderson played at St. Martin High School, where he was a team captain who led the Yellow Jackets to back-to-back playoff appearances.

He graduated from EMCC with an associate’s degree and completed a bachelor’s in sports management at UVA Wise.
