MGCCC beats up Eagles 7-2
PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team remains perfect after three matches after beating Meridian 7-2 at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs (3-0) swept three doubles matches. Pedro Molero (Fr., Maracaibo, Venezuela/U.E. Instituto Americano Joseph John Thomson) and Clay Fudge (Fr., Madison/Madison Central) teamed to win No. 2 by an 8-1 score, as did Patrick Roth (So., Pascagoula/Resurrection) and Jackson Ward (Fr., Gulfport/Gulfport) at No. 3.
Fudge was dominant again at No. 5, winning 6-0, 6-0.
Gulf Coast gets a day off before its third match of the week Thursday. Coastal Alabama-South visits Perk, with first serves set for 1 p.m.
