Softball games rained out
PERKINSTON — Tuesday's softball doubleheader between No. 2 Mississippi Gulf Coast and No. 20 Lansing has been rained out.
The Bulldogs led 5-1 when the game was called in the top of the fourth of the first game, thanks to a pair of Rakeya Travis home runs. The stats from the game, however, will not count.
Gulf Coast was scheduled to play Wednesday at Niceville, Fla., but those games have been canceled.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to travel to No. 17 LSU Eunice on Friday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
