MIDDLE TENNESSEE: In 2014, named team's most improved quarterback for strength training following spring drills ... played in five games and had 12 total snaps ... Had three carries for 10 yards and a touchdown against Savannah State ... Ran twice for seven yards against BYU ... Had an 11-yard run at FIU ... Attempted a Hail Mary pass on the game's final play at UTEP.  2013: Took a redshirt year. HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention all-state, all-region and team MVP in 2012 for West Forsyth High School ... Had 37 straight starts at quarterback and was 29-8 as a starter ... Passed for 2,373 yards, 18 touchdowns and only three interceptions his senior season while completing 141 of 232 passes ... Also added 888 yards on the ground and nine scores ...  Competed in the 2012 GACA North South All-Star Game where he threw the game-winning touchdown pass with 1:20 to play and earned MVP honors ... Threw for 1,695 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior ... Lettered in football and lacrosse
