Mississippi Gulf Coast dominated at Meridian on Friday, blanking the Eagles 5-0.
James Beattie netted a hat trick, with Lewis Tillman and Gio Freitas adding a goal apiece.
The Bulldogs improve to 12-4 overall, 7-2 in the MACJC South. They clinched second place in the division, earning them a home game against the North No. 3 team in the first round of the playoffs. That game will be played Oct. 27.
The winner of that game will advance to the four-team state tournament at Hinds.
Gulf Coast plays its last regular-season game Tuesday at Southwest. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
