No. 13 MGCCC men win 8-1
PERKINSTON — No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast extended its win streak to five matches Monday by easily defeated Wallace State-Hanceville 8-1 at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs (11-1) have now won five matches in six days.
Travis Bell (So, Jackson/Calloway) and Austin Vos (Fr, Perth, Australia/Applecross) swept their No. 1 singles match 8-0 to set the tone for the afternoon. Evan Chubb (Fr, Biloxi/St. Patrick), Reid Cudd (So, Wiggins/Stone), Bell and Vos each won two matches.
Gulf Coast returns to action Tuesday at Senatobia when the Bulldogs take on Itawamba. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
