Bulldogs hit the road again

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast hits the road again Thursday for its second road game of the young women's basketball season. It'll be a non-conference game against an MACCC foe.

The Bulldogs will take on Meridian at the Graham Gymnasium at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed at https://mcceagles.live/green-channel/.

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC beat Delgado 67-39 in New Orleans on Monday. Beverly Tillman (So., Laurel/Laurel), Aniya Saddler (So., Columbus/Columbus) and Elsie Harris (So., Mobile, Ala./B.C. Rain) had nine points each, and Brieanna Miller (So., Moss Point/Moss Point) pulled down six rebounds.
  • Meridian beat Bishop State 72-64 in Mobile on Monday.

Previous Meeting

Gulf Coast made scored its last 11 points from the free-throw line but couldn't finish an unusual comeback and lost 57-54 when a 3-pointer at the buzzer hit the back iron.
