Mississippi Gulf Coast lost 5-0 to Jones in a women's soccer match played in Hattiesburg on Friday.
The Bulldogs (5-4, 3-2 MACCC South) finish the first half of the division double round-robin in third place behind Jones (7-1, 5-0) and Meridian (5-1-1, 3-1-1).
The Bobcats scored in the sixth and 41st minutes to take a 2-0 lead to the halftime break, then added three goals in the final five minutes to close out the game.
Gulf Coast returns to Perkinston on Tuesday to continue division play with a match against Copiah-Lincoln. Kickoff at Bary Thrash Field is at 5 p.m.
