Bulldogs Soccer announces schedule
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast men's soccer coach Chris Handy has announced the Bulldogs' 2017 schedule.
The season begins with three road scrimmages and three more road regular-season games. Gulf Coast's first action is Aug. 12 at William Carey, and the stretch includes a trip to Texas to play defending national champion Tyler.
The Bulldogs make their MGCCC Soccer Complex debut Sept. 5 when archrival Pearl River visits. Their MACJC South Division first-half schedule includes three of four road games, with seven of their last nine games in Perkinston.
Gulf Coast won the South Division title last year, sweeping to a 10-0 mark. The Bulldogs went 15-3, with their season ending in the South District semifinals against Tyler.
