Bulldogs send 4 to All-Star Game
PERKINSTON — Four Mississippi Gulf Coast men's soccer players have been selected to play in the MACJC All-Star Soccer Game.
Owen Betz (So, Pass Christian/St. Stanislaus), Case Sloan (So, Wiggins/Stone), Jordan Hall (So, Manchester, England/Royton and Crompton) and Windham Whatley (So, Florence/Florence) will play in the game Nov. 11 at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland. The game starts at 4:30 p.m.
Betz is 13-2-1 in goal with seven shutouts and a 1.11 goals-against average. Case Sloan was a stalwart in central defense in front of Betz. Hall has 28 goals and 11 assists, both of which lead the team, and Whatley was a two-year captain for the Bulldogs.
Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students with a photo ID.
