Conley grabs 2nd MACCC Keeper of the Week award
PERKINSTON — Laurel Conley helped the Mississippi Gulf Coast women's soccer team get its first win over its archrival since 2021 last week, and it helped her win MACCC Keeper of the Week.
Conley, a freshman from Ocean Springs, picked up a pair of wins for the Bulldogs. She stopped one shot in a 2-1 win at Meridian, then had eight saves to beat No. 11 Pearl River 3-1.
It's the second time she's picked up the award this season. Laylah Johnson also won MACCC Player of the Week.
Conley is now eligible for NJCAA weekly honors, which will be announced Wednesday.
