No. 14 MGCCC beats Wallace State
PERKINSTON — The No. 14 Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team extended its winning streak to five straight matches Monday with a 7-2 win over Wallace State-Hanceville.
Travis Bell (Fr, Jackson/Calloway), John Murphy (Fr, Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) and Noah Rowell (Fr, Wiggins/Stone) won two matches each for the Bulldogs.
Rowell has won both his matches the last four times out.
Gulf Coast, which improves to 8-3, continues a busy week Thursday with a trip to Copiah-Lincoln. The Bulldog return to Perkinston for matches Friday and Saturday against Holmes and Itawamba.
