Women’s Basketball looks for 1st win

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast is still seeking its first win of the season, and the women's basketball team gets another shot Monday at home. 

Tipoff against Copiah-Lincoln is at 6 p.m. at the Weathers-Wentzell Center.

To keep attendance within the governor's COVID-19 restrictions, no tickets are available for the general public. The game will be streamed at https://livestream.com/mgcccbulldogs/events/9509844.

  • MGCCC lost 60-46 at Meridian on Thursday. Alisha Tucker (Fr., McComb/McComb) made four 3-pointers to lead the Bulldogs with 16 points.
  • Co-Lin opened its season Thursday with a 63-49 win over Hinds in Wesson. Freshman Aniya Sanders scored a game-high 19 points.

Previous Meeting

Co-Lin beat Gulf Coast 68-63 in overtime on Feb. 3, 2020, in Wesson. Daphane White had 16 points to led the Bulldogs.
