PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast couldn't anything clicking offensively and fell to archrival Pearl River 2-0 on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats (2-0-1, 2-0 MACJC South) took sole possession of first place with the win, keyed by goals in the 28th and 38th minute. The latter came on a penalty kick.
Gulf Coast (2-2, 1-1) returns to action Friday when the Bulldogs entertain Southwest. Kickoff at Bary Thrash Field is set for 7 p.m.
