PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast trailed at half by a goal, but saw a flurry of late Pearl River goals turn the women's soccer team's defeat into a 5-0 scoreline.
The Wildcats (3-0-1, 2-0 MACJC South) scored in the 31st minute, the 62 seconds after the start of the second half to seize control.
Gulf Coast (0-4, 0-2) will look for its first win of the season Friday when Southwest visits Bary Thrash Field. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
