Bulldogs ranked 16th in new poll
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast is ranked 16th in the NJCAA Division II baseball poll released Tuesday.
The Bulldogs won 16 of their 18 non-conference games and are off this midweek ahead of the start of MACJC play.
Gulf Coast begins conference play with a top-20 showdown. The Bulldogs travel to Fulton on Saturday to play No. 8 Itawamba. First pitch is at 2 p.m.
There are four other MACJC schools ranked in the top 20: No. 2 Jones County, No. 5 East Central, No. 13 Hinds and No. 19 Pearl River.
