PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's baseball doubleheader against Hinds has been postponed until Thursday.
Ken "Curly" Farris Field is too soggy to play today, so the games will start at 3 p.m.
The Bulldogs, who are tied for fifth in the conference, are 22-6 overall, 6-4 MACJC. Hinds (18-6, 4-4) one game back in the standings, tied for eighth but even in the loss column.
Gulf Coast will be holding a food drive to benefit Our Daily Bread, a local food pantry. Fans get free admission when they bring two canned goods, which will benefit Stone County families in need.
