Chan, Spivery named All-MACJC
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Dedoch Chan has been named to the All-MACJC South First Team by the conference's coaches, and LaRaymond Spivery was named to the Second Team.
Chan, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward from Rochester, Minn., averaged 16.8 points and 8.3 rebounds, both of which led the team. He scored 20 or more points 11 times, including a stretch of seven straight games.
Spivery, a 6-foot-1 freshman point guard from Lucedale, averaged 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and a team-high 4.8 assists. He scored in double digits 18 times, with a season-high 27 at Southwest.
