Lady Bulldogs aim for another W

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast women's soccer team plays Meridian in Perkinston on Friday, and the Lady Bulldogs can continue to improve their grasp on a home playoff game with a victory.

Kickoff against the Lady Eagles at Bary Thrash Field is at 5 p.m. The game will be streamed at https://livestream.com/MGCCCBulldogs/events/8396765.

The Lady Bulldogs are in second place in the MACJC South standings, which would earn them a playoff matchup against the North No. 3 seed in the quarterfinals.

The Lady Bulldogs won 4-1 at Meridian last month, with Paris Payne (Fr., Southampton, England/Saints Foundation), Kaitlyn Harwell (So., Wiggins/Stone), Jade Bernet (Fr., Alicante, Spain/Narrabundah) and Chloe Fell (Fr., Bury, England/Woodhey) scoring goals.
