No. 13 Bulldogs run past No. 15 Jacksonville
No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast cruised past No. 15 Jacksonville, winning 7-2 in the final match at the Tyler Invitational in Texas.
Angel Hernandez (Fr., Puebla, Mexico/UPAEP) and Jan Bako (Fr., Ostrava, Czech Republic/Hladnov) won their No. 1 doubles match 9-8, and both won their singles matches.
Cree Cunningham (Fr., Wiggins/Stone) and Nick Dulaney (So., Long Beach/Long Beach) also won their No. 3 doubles match 8-2 and added singles points.
The Bulldogs are off this week while Gulf Coast is on spring break, but they'll be back in action at home on March 24. Northwest Mississippi visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex with matches starting at 2 p.m.
