4 Bulldogs represent MGCCC at All-Star Game
PERKINSTON — Four Mississippi Gulf Coast players represented their school on the South squad at the MACJC All-Star Soccer Game on Saturday at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland. The South and North tied 2-2.
Bryce Yelverton (6-3, 205, So., Gulfport/Gulfport) played keeper in the second half. Defenders Ian Story (6-2, 185, So., Pass Christian/Gulfport) and Bennett Bates (5-10, 180, Fr., West Harrison/Gulfport) were joined by forward James Beattie (5-7, 155, So., Williamwood/Glasgow, Scotland).
The game was hosted by Holmes Community College.
