PERKINSTON — No. 18 Mississippi Gulf Coast opens the MACCC portion of its schedule a couple days earlier than originally planned with a trip to Northeast Mississippi.
The Bulldogs will face off against the Tigers in Booneville on Thursday because of the threat of freezing precipitation Friday night. First pitch in the doubleheader will be at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out
- MGCCC lost a doubleheader at Pensacola State on March 2, falling 6-3 and 7-5.
- NEMCC shut out Gordon State twice on Saturday in Booneville, winning 3-0 and 11-0.
Previous Meeting
Gulf Coast swept a doubleheader from Northeast on Feb. 27, 2021, winning 10-2 and 6-5. The Bulldogs scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to win the second game.
