Women’s Tennis opens 2026 season Feb. 2

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast women's tennis coach Sam Blackburn's squad will open the 2026 season Feb. 2 on the road.

The Bulldogs will begin the year with an exhibition match against Alcorn State in Vicksburg, kicking off a stretch of four consecutive away matches to start the season. Gulf Coast will not play at home until Coastal Alabama-South visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex on Feb. 23.

That match begins a five-match homestand in Perkinston, highlighted by the Bulldogs' first conference home contest against Copiah-Lincoln on Feb. 24. Gulf Coast opens MACCC play on Feb. 20 at Southwest Mississippi in Summit.
