ELLISVILLE – Bad weather forecast for central Mississippi today has resulted in a schedule change at today's state tournament.
The MACJC has swapped the start of the first two games, which means No. 3 Mississippi Gulf Coast will play No. 5 Jones County at 4:30 p.m. The conference wants the losers' bracket game between No. 7 Itawamba and No. 10 East Central to be played today to determine the NJCAA Region 23 field.
The winner of the ICC-ECCC game will join Gulf Coast and Jones in Eunice next week for the region tournament.
