Celebration of Life ceremony, scholarship fund set for Marcus Dickey
PERKINSTON — A celebration of life ceremony for Marcus Dickey will take place Sept. 7, and his family is starting a memorial scholarship fund in his name.
The event will take place at the Biloxi Civic Center from 1-4 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Dickey Brothers Memorial Funeral Home in Biloxi.
Dickey was a defensive lineman on the Mississippi Gulf Coast football team who died in a car accident on Aug. 23.
The Marcus David Dickey Scholarship is being established at Cadence Bank. The family wants to honor Marcus' legacy so his smile which brightened so many lives will continue to live forever.
