Henderson snares NJCAA All-American honor
PERKINSTON — Tyler Henderson spent the 2025 Mississippi Gulf Coast football season making big play after big play, putting his name high up among the all-time Bulldog greats.
The sophomore wide receiver from Vicksburg has been named to a First-Team NJCAA All-American after his sensational season. He led the country in receptions and receiving yards, helping Gulf Coast to a 9-2 record and sixth-place in the final NJCAA rankings.
His 67 catches were one off the school record, and his 1,299 yards were 38 from the most in school history. Henderson had 12 touchdown catches, tied for second in the NJCAA and tied for fourth in Bulldog history.
Henderson, who has signed to continue his college career at NCAA Division I Kennesaw State, is also in the top-10 among Bulldog players in receiving yards per game (109.3, fourth) and yards per catch (17.9, 10th),
Henderson is the 67th NJCAA All-American from Perk since 1968. He's the 10th since head coach Jack Wright took over in 2018.
