No. 7 Mississippi Gulf Coast heads to Fulton to take on No. 10 Itawamba in an MACJC showdown with huge postseason implications.
First pitch Saturday will be at noon, and the games will be streamed at https://www.letsgoicctv.com/blue.
The teams are tied for second in conference, but even with No. 3 Jones in losses. Jones is off Saturday, and both MGCCC and ICC have makeup doubleheaders next week to close the four-game gap in the win column.
The top team will host the eight-team, double-elimination state tournament.

- Gulf Coast swept Southwest 12-1 and 8-3 on Wednesday in Summit, with Kristen Cade (Fr., Harrison Central/Saucier) throwing a no-hitter in the first game. Bailey Massey (So., Bruce/Bruce) went 4-for-7 with three RBI.
- Itawamba walloped East Mississippi 9-4 and 21-10 on Wednesday in Scooba, with Mattie Meine going 6-for-7 with a double, two triples and five RBIs.
Previous Meeting
The Lady Bulldogs split with the Lady Indians on April 13, 2018, at Harrison Central High School, winning the first game 7-4 before falling 3-0 in the nightcap.
