Thursday is USM Night at MGCCC

The University of Southern Mississippi will join Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday night, September 15, at A.L. May Memorial Stadium for USM Night. It marks the second home game for the Bulldogs in their newly renovated stadium.

The Black and Gold will join up with the Blue and Gold before and during the game featuring the Bulldogs against the third-ranked Copiah-Lincoln Wolves. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

With outstanding partnerships throughout the history of the two institutions, Southern Miss and MGCCC are finding even more ways to work together. From the Film Studies Pathway that enables MGCCC students to enroll in a program that will guide them to a bachelor's degree from USM in the entertainment industry with an emphasis in film, to the Honors Colleges agreement that allows MGCCC Honors students to transfer to the USM Senior Honors program, the two institutions continue to find ways to partner and ensure the success of South Mississippi students.

USM leaders will be in attendance, including University President Rodney D. Bennett; Vice President for the Gulf Park Campus Dr. Steven G. Miller; and Assistant Vice President and Dean of Admissions, Kate Howard.  College representatives and admission recruiters will be on hand to meet with prospective students. USM will also have a number of giveaways, including a special event T-shirt.

All MGCCC students and employees are invited to attend the game free of charge.
