MGCCC travels to Scooba on Saturday
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will travel for the first round of the MACJC state football playoffs, heading to East Mississippi on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (5-4) finished second in the South Division to qualify for the postseason for the 10th consecutive season. They will face the Lions (8-1), who won the North. The winner plays in the state championship game the following weekend.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The teams met in the second week of the season. East Mississippi won 45-7 in Perkinston.
