Rowland named MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast kicker Joshua Rowland has been named MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week for his perfect night at Southwest.
Rowland, a sophomore from Madison Central, made all four field goals and five extra points in a 47-35 win over the Bears.
Three of Rowland's field goals were from more than 40 yards. He made a pair of 44-yarders, one from 42 yards and another from 22.
The All-American kicker is 5-for-7 on field goals this year and 24-of-25 on point-afters.
