Gulf Coast golf moves up to No. 2
PERKINSTON – Mississippi Gulf Coast has moved up to No. 2 in the latest Golfstat rankings, released today.
The Bulldogs, eight-time defending NJCAA Region 23 champions, moved up two spots in the rankings after their performance at the William Carey Collegiate Classic in Hattiesburg.
Defending national champion South Mountain is in first, with fellow MACJC competitor Meridian in third.
Gulf Coast, which finished third at last year's NJCAA Division II National Tournament, returns to MACJC action this weekend at the Lion Hills Golf Course in Columbus. The two-day event starts Saturday.
