National champs to throw out first pitch
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's national champion golf team will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Biloxi Shuckers game on June 28.
Coach Tommy Snell's Bulldogs won the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Tournament with a 9-under charge on the final day at GlenLakes Golf Club in Foley, Ala.
Fans of the team can get discount tickets by using the code BULLDOGS when buying them online only at http://biloxishuckers.com. Tickets will be $11 for a dugout box level ticket and $9 for a reserved level ticket.
The Shuckers will be taking on Southern League neighbor Mobile at MGM Park. The ceremony will take place at 6:15 p.m., with the game beginning at 6:35.
