Baseball postponed until Sunday
PERKINSTON — The regional qualifying game between Mississippi Gulf Coast and No. 16 Meridian has been pushed back until Sunday.
The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at Meridian's Scaggs Field. It's Game 2 of the best-of-three series, with Gulf Coast having won the opener 10-8 on Wednesday.
A third game, if necessary, would be played immediately following Sunday's game.
The winner of the series advances to the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament, which starts Wednesday in Fulton.
