Baseball playoffs shift to Jackson
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast and No. 16 Meridian have shifted their playoff series Sunday to Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson.
Game 2 in the best-of-three series will start at 11 a.m. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. Ticket information will be passed along when it is set.
The Bulldogs won the first game 10-8 Wednesday at Meridian. A third game, if necessary, would follow immediately after the second.
The winner advances to the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament which starts Wednesday in Fulton.
