Baseball starts Jan. 30

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's second season under baseball head coach Zach Allen on Jan. 30 with the first doubleheader of a four-date homestand to start the season. 

The Bulldogs will play Florida Post-Grad at Ken "Curly" Farris Field, the first of 17 home dates. All games at Perk will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch, and season passes and individual game tickets will go on sale in January at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets.

Allen's 2025 squad went 38-19, posting 12 more wins than the year before. The Bulldogs advanced to the postseason first time in three years after finishing fourth in the MACCC

They will open conference play at Hinds on March 11, with the first home MACCC doubleheader being March 17 when East Central visits.

The schedule includes four teams that finished in the top 25 of the NJCAA Division II rankings (Pearl River, East Central, Lansing, Jones), and two teams that played in the Division II World Series (Pearl River, East Central).
